Hello, It's Metal Head Max here, and this is my top 10 favorite songs and the artists/bands that made them.
1. Wait and Bleed (Slipknot)- this song got me into metal in the first place, the band itself scared the sh** out of me when I was little and they stuck in my mind ever since.
2. Enter Sandman (Metallica)- this song, although possibly the best Metal song ever, is responsible for getting me into Metallica, if I had heard any other song I probably wouldn't listen to them as much as I do now.
3. Sleep now in the fire (rage against the machine)- I love to headband to songs, and this song has so much power. I just feel like I should be in a huge mosh pit when I listen to this song.
4. Respiration (Mos Def, Talib Kweli, and Common)- Although this song is NOT metal, I still love listening to it. When I'm cruising around on my skateboard, or when I'm relaxing I put this song on because it creates a chill atmosphere wherever you are.
5. Anyway you want it (journey)- Another non-Metal song that I love because its so inspirational to me. Every time i hear this song I have to move some part of me because i love how the song makes me feel. It's so simple and I love all the aspects of the song, from the guitar riffs to the memorable lyrics.
6. In the end (linkin Park)- this song, as well as all the other songs from Hybrid Theory, are the reason why I love to turn up my speakers extremely loud indoors. These songs were the first hybrid Rock/Hiphop that I ever, and will ever, listen to in my life.
7. Down with the Sickness (disturbed)- this song had the creepiest sound to it, even after a while this song still is extremely creepy to me. This song is also one that introduced me to disturbed so it holds a lot of ground when I tell people that I listen to disturbed. I listen to their other songs, but this song will always stick out in my mind because it's the first song that i ever listen to by them.
8. Under the bridge (red hot chili peppers)- This song was so calming when I listened to it. It was just one of those songs when I was stressed out for whatever reason, I would just pop in my cd and blast this song for hours.
9. What's my age again (blink 182)- This song was my favorite song from 6-8th grade, I guess where I did the bulk of my growing up. This song always made me happy and want to go out and do something.
10. Go into the water (Dethklok)- Although not a real band, and from a animated show, these songs are the most metal songs I have ever hear. This show also made me laugh so much so every time I hear any of Dethklok's songs I immediately start to remember any funny moments from the show.

Thats my top 10 Favorite songs (for now...)

  1. Yeah, it's hard not to move while listening to a song like Anyway You Want.

My favorite "creepy" song is 18 Dogs by the Hank Dogs. Folksy sound, lovely harmonies ... then you listen to the lyrics: "I'll take the greatest of pleasure in watching you torn limb from limb." Whoa! Not quite a match. But I still like it.
